When I used to work a full-time job for a living, I often found myself on trains between Northeast England and London. I'd fill in time by writing little stories. Once retired I decided to make these tales into a novel, which I self-published. Eventually that became 3 novels, of course, as I needed to complete my protagonist's story. I'm now thinking about a 4th instalment.
