I am a Black lesbian writer from Texas whose fiction examines power, silence, and moral collapse inside families and communities. I came to writing through long attention—raising children, surviving institutions, and watching how harm hides in plain sight. I write stories that resist easy redemption and ask what we protect when we say we are doing the right thing.
