I love reading but only started my fictional writing recently, however, I have always written poetry. This new journey began when I realised so many children on the neurodivergent spectrum, don't have a voice and feel like they can not be part of what society deems "normal". My daughter and I are both ADHD and on the spectrum so I created a character that defies the language of how we fit in, which is both magical and traumatic.
