Im now 44, a father of 3 young boys and a husband for just over 15 years. I have been many things in my life, some good and some.....questionable. Beneath this surface of calm demeanor lies something which to me, and many like me, is the immense darkness, the place of no hope and no light. I am a type 1 diabetic, its a part of me and I am a part of it. My story is an account of the war I have fought and the untold truth hidden from those who share the scars I wear. It's time to tell the truth.
