I'm a fiction writer and pocket-sized poet. It took me fourteen years, an MFA and a PhD, to compose 'Knives and Spoons,' an antiwar novel about the transgenerational trauma that contaminates four generations of a German family--so those who enabled World War II. My work has been awarded an Honorable Mention for the Creative Writing Book Award by the Northeast Modern Language Association, and I am the 2026 writer-in-residence for the Swiss Society for the European Convention on Human Rights.
