I took sabbaticals to focus on my writing around a decade ago. That privilege of time enabled me to finish my second novel. Some publishers and agents asked to see the full manuscripts of both my novels and although they were not right for their lists, they took the time to give me detailed and positive feedback, as well as constructive criticism. Writing has been a crucial missing part of how I want to live my life so I am planning to structure my working life to be able to write again.
