I have always been drawn to stories of magic and transformation, and I read voraciously across science fiction and fantasy. Formerly an NHS doctor, my writing is shaped by my experiences of identity, power, and sexism within the health service. Since finishing my first novel, I have begun its sequel and started work on a second. Writing full-time is the dream, and one I am determined to pursue.
