I am a writer of short stories, critical essays, poems and have just completed my debut novel. As a former full-time academic I have written numerous scholarly papers and reports and I still very much enjoy the researching, writing and editing of the work I now do. I am inspired by my love of people's life crises, of nature, and my own history! My other passions are watercolour painting, walks and swimming.
