I am a retired primary school teacher who loves to read children and YA / romance novels. One of my favourite duologies is The Crimson Moth books by Kristen Ciccarelli as I have always been intrigued by slightly imperfect heroines, like Rune and Alarya, who need to recognise their strengths and accept their flaws. Even Anne of Green Gables reflects these qualities. I am drawn to fantasy novels where anything is possible.
