From a young age, I have always been an avid reader, reading mostly fiction, from Gerald Seymour's thrillers, to The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and Afrikaans short stories. I always enjoyed writing essays at school, Afrikaans and English. I studied engineering, and worked in this field. Only recently did my love for reading returned, and I decided to write a book, starting in December 2024. In my spare time, I also run a lot, having run a few half and full marathons.
