I write novels and short stories, often using my own life experiences as an educator, a politician, a mother, and a woman. I write about people, families and relationships; I write about historical events and I write about emotions. I have experienced great love and devastating loss; I have witnessed bravery and abuse, enjoyed laughter and felt despair. And I pour all these into my writing, hopefully giving my work an authenticity that resonates with the reader.
