As a writer from Bali, I wanted to explore a setting where the logistics of divine bureaucracy and the weight of traumatic memories are as tangible as the swords on the characters' hips. My writing is heavily influenced by the narrative structures of JRPGs like Final Fantasy X and the dialogue-heavy formats of visual novels. I believe this gives my novel a unique, modern voice that feels both specific to its world and revelatory to the reader.
