Two Sisters in 1922

A BRUTAL COMING OF AGE. Daria was an art student at the Bauhaus in Weimar. Olga, her younger sister, was sailing the globe on a windjammer from Finland. Both were born in Russia around 1900 and had barely survived the Bolshevik revolution, but they didn’t like to talk about it. Still, the past came back to haunt them and they were forced to share their memories in the letters they exchanged, as apparently unrelated events kept confronting them with the tragedy they were trying so hard to forget.
