The Wisconsin Deer Hunter’s Guide to Vegetarian Cooking

At the start of the pandemic lockdown, Asa moves into his parents’ summer house near Lake Michigan in rural Wisconsin. Alone, sometimes sick, Asa wanders the woods and shore, watches his mysterious neighbors, and is watched in turn. Ten years later, after an environmental cataclysm, Asa returns, alone except for two elderly nuns and their self-appointed caretaker. When one of the nuns vanishes, rumors and fairytales from 10 years ago merge with Asa’s dreams and alter his reality.
