Words & Wounds
by Oliver Whitefield

Eighteen-year-old Davey Robinson has never escaped the shadow of Stenton Castle, where his father died ten years ago. Stuck in a fading seaside village and under his stepfather’s control, he retreats into history until he discovers a pattern of deaths at the castle, every two years on the first Saturday of August. As the date approaches again, Davey must uncover the truth before the past claims another life. Some legacies are inherited. Others are chosen.
