The Two Faces of Solitude

The Two Faces of Solitude might be compared to Henry David Thoreau’s book, Walden, about wanting to experience simple living in natural surroundings. My book differs from Walden in that the main character benefits from having a supportive wife who questions whether the simple life in modern-day society can really be all that simple. Readers will enjoy the humor and quirky situations in the novel that beset anyone taking time out from civilization
