What would it be like to live in an old drive-in? Having a bathroom with three toilets and three basins? Getting the milk for your cereal from a huge, rattling Coke fridge? Sleeping next to the old projector, looking out at the drive-in screen? At the back, a fence keeps the wild animals out. Unless they really want to get in. For Rory’s dad, it’s a chance to make a new life, a fresh start. But for Rory the question is whether he’ll fight for any kind of life. However that might look.
