As the pandemic ebbs away you'd expect artists like Claire Sjoden-Bell to vanish. Except, Claire primed partner Tony and her assistant Mary in advance. When Tony's childhood friend, journalist Alice Inglis helps and writes an arty memoir things are looking up. However, under cover of writing the memoir Alice is obsessed with writing about the real, almost always unsavoury Claire. In the process Alice risks everything that she holds dear.
