Refugee

Refugee is a speculative, future-dystopian novel that explores themes of survival, displacement, and human resilience. It seeks to turn on it’s head racism and privilege, based in a world where white European refugees seek asylum, kindness, and compassion in Africa. In the mid-2030s, a cataclysmic event has forced millions of white Europeans to flee south, seeking refugee. Among them is Mago Cartwright, once a senior respected aid worker supporting refugees, and now a refugee herself.
