by KevinFinn

In the fierce political arena of the Roman Republic, electoral success brings power, wealth and, most importantly, renown. But what if the drive to win isn't yours, but your mother's? Through battles, weddings, plagues, prosecutions, priesthoods and bad omens, Gnaeus struggles to reconcile the duty, pietas, he has to his family and the Republic with that he owes to himself.
