Marty Dake desired to become an independent film actor and escape the humdrum suffocation of his work and life. He met a talented Black actor/writer in California and thought he had found his ticket out. Little did he know that agreeing to co-star and market his independent film to the general public would involve falling in love with his leading lady and nearly cost him his life! He found out diferently and learned to regret his decision.
