The Doncaster Letters
by A N Condor

London, 1947. Kathleen, the widow of Scott of the Antarctic, is dying. Autobiographer Clarissa keeps discovering gaps and paradoxes as she attempts to build a coherent narrative from Kathleen's papers. There is no mention of Rodin, her teacher in Paris, or Picasso, Isadora Duncan or a long list of other close friends. Then she discovers a cache of unopened letters sent to Captain Scott. Clarissa must invent beyond the historical record to find a truth from the gaps in Kathleen's amazing story.
