The Devil's Chain

Anger, emotional abuse, and greed drive James Littleton to murder his wife, Lora. Fear and anger, in turn, push Lora to murder her husband, James. Earthbound because of their hatred for each other, they are stuck as ghosts in their mansion. James' mistress Rita comes to the house to retrieve jewelry and furs that James promised her, and Lora knocks her down the stairs, turning her into a ghost. Medium Mariam Dell is called in to help them depart to the other side. Complex and fascinating.
