Wild Wormwood Well is an illustrated short story, written in rhyme, about a group of pensioners in a small town who seek a means to occupy their spare time and earn some money to supplement their pensions by setting up an illicit still and making absinthe. The result of their endeavours is not quite what they anticipated.
