In the city of Slidell, LA, the "Camellia City ", just north of the historical city ,New Orleans, LA, three teens’ lives become intertwined in a tangle of love, loss, and emotion following the devastating storm, Hurricane Katrina. The storm changed the city of Slidell, and unfolded the riveting past of two families whose love story could only have taken place “Where Camellias Grow”. Could this be the reason that some continue to call Slidell by its’ second nickname, "The Dirty Dell"?
