Under the Surface follows the unfiltered, ugly lives of five women associated with the swim world, from eating disorders to injury to menopause to cheating, abusive husbands. All while hurtling towards answering the question … which of these women drowns? ‘The dark side’ of swim clubs, and more widely competitive sport, has been spoken about more in recent years, both in the sporting world and general population. Under The Surface shows behind the scenes of a world known, but unknown, by many.
