Julien Le Neve is the archetypal innocent abroad, a 22-year-old with the credulity and openness of a 6-year-old. Having been shielded all his life from ‘evil’ by his well-meaning parents, he graduates as a freelance journalist and travels the world to discover the truth about everything. As he seeks to make sense of the craziness, absurdity and immorality of modern life, he also hopes to re-discover the love of his life, whom everyone assures him is now dead.
