The Long Shadow

In the small village of St Antoine (patron Saint of lost causes) on Bastille Day, Robert Black, a retired British army veteran, encounters, seemingly by chance, Beth Sullivan. As the day unfolds Robert realises that chance had little to do with the meeting; a realisation that spirals him into his past. The Long Shadow is a tale of guilt, retribution, and atonement.
