The Ice Beneath Me
by Patti Buff

After chasing the fae out of England, a large corporation called The Theatre holds the monopoly on fairy tales. Each year, they immortalize the rich and powerful, then charitably host The Season, where even the ordinary can win a happily ever after. This year, a few sidelined characters, force their way centre stage. The Kismet Comedy is a story about wanting to be seen and the cost of getting exactly what you asked for.
