On her quest to spark social justice, a bratty cosmic spirit passes from a colonial American abolitionist dwarf through Abraham Lincoln and populist William Jennings Bryan, only to face a shattered national discourse after Barack Obama's election. A different oddball narrator chronicles each time period, forwarding to the next a record of the stubborn nation's brushes with grace. The Fullness asks the question: If the divine were fallible, would we be better or worse off than we've become?
