The Cove

It's the mid-1700s in an English coastal village. Alice has seen each of her brothers leave and is suffocating, waiting for her turn. When her mother finds her a supposedly ideal suitor, she knows she must take her fate into her own hands. With the help of her outlaw older brother, her life takes a turn that she could never have anticipated. A queer coming-of-age story of love, heartbreak, self-discovery, family and coming home, set in the age of piracy and smuggling in the English Channel.
