Skyworld

When a ladder descends from the sky, the sensible thing to do is panic. The second sensible thing is to send someone else up it. Enter Captain Worthy an expendable nobody. Ordered to climb the mysterious ladder and report back (preferably alive, but paperwork can be flexible). At the top of the ladder lies Skyworld. A glittering empire where magic and machinery coexist, and sky elves sail proud ships across rolling clouds. It is breath taking and is, unfortunately, about to be invaded.
