Open Waters

P, a divorced Brazilian immigrant in Ireland, has perfected the art of disappearing—until two connections pull him back: letters from LS, a childhood friend who remembers who he used to be, and C, a closeted Irishman he meets at a Dublin book club. As P falls for C, he's forced to confront the sexuality he's suppressed for years. When a trip to Brazil demands he finally tell his mother, P must choose: keep hiding, or start swimming in open waters.
