“One thing is to be born, another is to become.“ With this, Khanh retraces her life during which she reinvented herself through different journeys in different countries in search of freedom to be herself. Her stories recount her resilience and the cultural changes in our world, going from Vietnam, to studying in USA, then a World Bank career, ending with winemaking in Tuscany. Today, she is a recognized painter and her book just won the 42nd Premio Firenze’s Fiorino d'Argento for Literature.
