Angels Gate
by Marianella Dumack

The world ended. Or rather, the human part did. Something has happened and now there’s no electricity and barely any sign of people. Then, a transient group of 5 adults, a mute teenager, and a little boy find a house running on energy from solar panels inhabited by a couple who are fed, clean, and actually happy in an apocalypse. A life of isolation with no electricity, no technology, and no healthcare sounds terrifying, but with the set-up this house has, one can consider how bad could it be?
