Hera's Kiss

On an island in Greece, an English eccentric wagered his dear daughter Laskarina—and lost. Put to work as a nanny her charge is a cold-hearted child. But when Laskarina is killed and her bones stripped of flesh, the child wants nanny back. A skeletal Laskarina maintains her tenaciously dry wit in a magical, mythical world.
