The newly independent nation of Ugolia is under attack — by its own citizens. Crazed and uncontrolled, the country is falling apart at its seams. Within such harsh conditions journeys Nish, a 11 year old with a Winchester Model 12 shotgun that not protects her but also keeps her company. She’s on her way to the southern most city in Ugolia to fulfil a promise to her dead mentor. Along the way, she discovers secrets about the madness ravaging the country and how she is at the centre of it all.
