Gemma is an Australian exchange student at the University of Alabama. Intent on having the full American college experience, Gemma naively signs up for sorority rush. Cultures clash as she navigates pledgeship, gets fat-shamed by the House Mum, misreads date party themes, tries Class A narcotics, and pretends she's not terrified of guns. Things reach a head when she sets her sights on the ultimate Greek Life invitation, a fraternity formal, a weekend of debauchery that may be her downfall.
