Barry's War Stories 1913-1924.

Barry and Neville join the British Army in 1913 looking for adventure in the British Empire. They find adventure in the Flanders mud at the Marne, Ypres and the Somme. Barry is an eccentric fantasist who makes friends with the artist Henri Matisse and Giselle a double-jointed exotic dancer. He is given driving lessons by a French General's driver who won the French Grand Prix in 1913. Neville is a Methodist and plays to organ in Chapel. Barry fights Bolsheviks and falls in love with a Princess.
