Armour of the Absurd

Librarian and cardiac survivor Alina Mathews is a ghost in her own life. In an act of absurd extravagance, she flies to LA, meeting movie star Charlotte Mayfair at 30,000 feet. As masks fall, they begin a dangerous "five-day heist" of time in Venice Beach. To stay together, they deploy a "Trojan Horse": a film deal for Alina’s secret manuscript. Now, Alina must risk medical fraud to stay—even if her heart is tearing at the seams.
